Carrie's concentration is in healthcare reimbursement and consulting services for clients in Florida, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.

A Shareholder and member of the Firm’s Skilled Nursing Facility Practice Group, Carrie St. John has extensive experience providing services to clients in the healthcare and senior housing industries.

Within her career of over 20 years in healthcare reimbursement and consulting, she has 10 years’ experience in the roles of reimbursement manager and director for a major long-term care company and over 10 years’ experience in public accounting with long-term care and hospital clients.  Carrie currently provides services to over 150 skilled nursing facilities.  She has extensive experience serving clients in the healthcare industry in the states of Florida, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.  

Carrie oversees the preparation of cost reports and performs the review and analysis of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and reimbursement rates.  She also prepares and manages Medicare and Medicaid cost report appeals for clients.  Her long-term working relationships with state agencies and CMS regional offices enable Carrie to assist clients expediently with reporting changes of ownership, proof of financial ability, Certificate of Need applications and licensure requirements.  Additionally, she provides clients with reimbursement consulting and reporting services and prepares Medicaid provider reimbursement rate projections to assist with budget planning.
